Thanks! From my understanding, and without checking the Steinberg site, LE doesn't get you the dongle.
That seems absolutely perfect, thank you so much - but I'm a bit confused by the process.Ģ-Then I buy the 9 pro upgrade, but why do I get 8.5 ? Why do I not get 9 Pro directly?
I completely understand and agree on crack users, I've been wanting to do this for a while and I think it's definitely time to just pay Steinberg for all the fun I've had! Which is why I now have S1Pro and Reaper here for location stuffġ-Thanks, no choice I guess, Elements it is for now.Ģ-3I have tried REAPER in the past, and while I didn't hate, there is some lazyness on my part in starting from scratch with a new DAW, after using Cubase almost exclusively for all this time, I really didn't feel like starting from scratch! We have to deal with the damn dongle for copy protection because of crack users. It cost all the registered users more money ALWAYS for purchases/upgrades. NOTE: The reason people get pissed at crack users(myself included) is this: When people steal the software and don't pay for it it does a couple of things. REAPER | Purchase The demo runs without restrictions as well If you want a full blown DAW on the cheap, Reaper will do what you need for $60. S1 Pro is cheaper too and NO DONGLE!!!!!!ģ. Now would be a good time to check out StudioOnePro IMO, I use both here BTW and S1 more so these days. If you need a feature comparison here ya goĢ. And I would ask myself the same thing $34 to try out a DAW, no thanks!! Cubase Elements will give you a great idea of what it looks like, the flow etc.
Go buy a e licenser dongle and try the full version out, simpleġ.
